An aerial acrobat, exotic pole dancer, burlesque artist, instructor, costume maker and pioneer of the polesque genre, Melitta Honeycup burst onto the international burlesque scene in 2009, debuting at the London Burlesque Festival.
In 2016 she had the great honour of becoming the resident aerialist of the El Molino Theater in Barcelona (the spanish Moulin Rouge). And in 2019 she was crowned “Miss Burlesque” in St. Petersburg, Russia at the prestigious Polesque Show, taking burlesque to the stages of pole dancing. Since 2017 she has run her own pole dancing school (Pole Dance Maresme, www.poledancemaresme.com) and is a co-producer of the Barcelona Burlesque Extravaganza, Barcelona’s international burlesque festival.
